Drivers in and around Somerset West and Taunton will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A30, from 8pm April 1 2025 to 4am April 1 2026, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 20 to 31 mobile lane closures for drainage works.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M5, from 8pm June 3 to 6am June 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 25 exit and entry slip road closures for lighting works, diversion for exit slip road via, junction 24 and return, diversion for entry slip road via, junction 26 and return.

M5, from 8pm June 4 to 6am June 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 25 exit and entry slip road closures for lighting works, diversion for exit slip road via, junction 26 and return, diversion for entry slip road via, junction 24 and return.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
