UP-AND-COMING Wellington-based alternative rock band Last One Home have been reaching out to fans across the world with their recently released single Bring Down The Storm.

The fiery foursome are headed by singer and guitarist Tom Westlake, who wrote the lyrics and music, and produced the single.

Singer and guitarist Jack Dale, bassist Harry Lowndes and drummer Phil Horler complete the line-up.

They are all excited by their first chance to be heard worldwide through iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and Google Play.

“We’re getting well known in Somerset and nearby counties,’ said Tom. “But this single is going to reach new fans across the world, which is awesome. The song is about getting through life’s stormy moments. I hope people will find their own way to relate to the lyrics. It’s unforgettably deep and powerful, with awesome sounds and dramatic light and shade.

“It’s an epic, alternative track and we’re so excited to make it our first single released on iTunes.”

The band has performed live at iconic venue The Fleece in Bristol and local pubs and festivals, including regular spots at the Cobblestones in Bridgwater.

They have also played a live acoustic set on Apple FM and have plenty of gigs lined up early this year. Tom’s solo acoustic recordings have also found an enthusiastic audience on BBC Introducing.

Between them, Last One Home’s many favourite sounds and influences include Simon Neil from Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro; Manchester Group The 1975; American band Neck Deep; and punk band The Clash.
