THE Wellington-based charity Reminiscence Learning has rescheduled a record attempt it planned to stage earlier this year.

The charity wanted to break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as scarecrows in May but the event was rained off. The attempt was part of the charity’s family fun day for Archie’s Record Breaking Birthday.

Now the attempt will be part of an event with stands, funfair rides, food stalls and much more at Goodland Gardens in Taunton on Saturday, October 2, from 10am to 4pm.

People are being encouraged to sign up to be part of the world record attempt. For details, or to register to be a scarecrow, email [email protected]
