YOUNGSTERS from the Wellington area attended a local farm shop on Saturday for a spooky Hallowe’en party.

Rumwell Farm Shop, on the A38 between Wellington and Taunton, hosted a variety of fun activities for children to celebrate Hallowe’en.

Anne Mitchell, joint owner of the farm shop, said: “This was our first Hallowe’en party and was held in our cafe. It was a fantastic, fun-filled afternoon. Children got the chance to have their faces painted and also draw a frightening face on one of our pumpkins, which our staff helped to carve.

“We also held a fancy dress competition to find the spookiest costume. There were some fabulous outfits from scary skeletons to ghosts and witches. There was also a special spooky themed tea for the children to enjoy.”
