BURSAR at Wellington School Tim Williams is swapping numbers for words with his first book, the children’s story ‘Sergeant Jack’.
Tim, an accountant and auditor by profession, has written his humorous tale about what he calls ‘a sort of doggy Dad’s Army’, under the name Tim Williams.
The story, set on the south Devon coast just after the Second World War, features an army of terriers battling to protect their food rations against thieving fidos and pilfering pooches from across the English Channel.
Tim was born in Carmarthenshire in Wales and lived there for 50 years before moving to Wellington. He has worked for many well-known companies in Swansea, Cardiff and Bristol, and is married with two grown-up children.
