Somerset Council wants to smarten up lines and signs on the county's roadsThe Living Light Church has built the garden designed by the school’s gardening club.
The garden includes slabs of stone and natural unfurnished wood to sit on. It also has bamboo plants, soft benches, other plants and trees.
It includes a bench in memory of former assistant headteacher Bob Stark, who died two years after retiring.
Student Lili Gentry,11, said: “It is a great place to read. It is very meditational,” and Charlotte Ayers, 12, added: “It is like a mini Garden of Eden.”
Headteacher Rachael Bennett said: “It has been a pleasure working with the Living Light Church, which has supported the students of Court Fields School by creating this wonderful space, designed by students and now enjoyed by all.”
