WELLINGTON Scouts took part in the eighth Taunton Deane Scout District cooking competition and came away with the Spirit of Scouting Award which was handed to the group exhibiting the best team working.

The youngsters had to cook a three-course meal within a limited budget on a two-ring gas stove.
