GUYS and Dolls performed at the Wellesley Theatre in Wellington last week was a ‘fantastic success’, said show director Nancy Powell-Brace.

She added: “The audiences were very appreciative and we had excellent feedback. The performers in the ensemble piece did really well.”

Wellington Operatic Society staged five performances between Wednesday and Saturday.

Although a final total is not yet known, collections in aid of the Wellington Basins volunteer group and Wellington-based charity Reminiscence Learning, have raised hundreds of pounds.
