Visually impaired people in Wellington had the chance to find out more about Somerset Sight’s services at the car park at the town’s Asda store.

The charity’s Mobile Advisory Service stops off in town every two months and Donna Cannell (pictured) was on hand to give advice to anyone who called in. Items such as magnifiers, talking watches, liquid level indicators, large print diaries and canes are available through the charity.

Somerset Sight also runs a volunteer visiting programme, has an audio library and can provide IT help, among other services, and can signpost to other organisations. PHOTO: Mark Pritchett
