WELLINGTON School has welcomed a record number of new pupils.
The first day back saw more than 170 new student across all ages come into the school, sporting smart new uniform.
The Year 7 group has more than 70 pupils – the largest group for seven years – and the school has increased the year to four classes, keeping class numbers below 20.
The new pupils enjoyed their induction day with a roast lunch and pre-season hockey
and rugby, followed by cream teas and cookies.
