Somerset West and Taunton's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A30, from 8pm October 27 2022 to 5am December 30 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 20 to 31 mobile lane closures for drainage works.
And a further four closures will begin over the next seven days:
• M5, from 8pm May 2 to 6am May 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 25 closed between exit and entry slip for resurfacing. Diversion via exit and entry slip road.
• M5, from 8pm May 3 to 6am May 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 25 closed between exit and entry slip for resurfacing. Diversion via exit and entry slip road.
• M5, from 9pm May 3 to 6am May 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 25 to 26 lane closure for electrical works.
• M5, from 9pm May 15 to 6am May 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 26 to 25 lane closure for carriageway repairs.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
