WELLINGTON Flower Show Society is holding its Spring Show on Saturday, April 2, at Wellington Prep School from 2-4pm.

As usual the hall will be full of spring flowers and blossom and although it has been a very early spring, it is hoped there will still be some daffodils on show and perhaps more tulips this year.

People are invited to have a look round their gardens and think about entering a vase of spring flowers. Classes are also on offer for camellias and a very popular class in which entrants float hellebore heads in water. There are also two children’s classes – the ever popular Easter garden on a plate and a decorated egg.

The show will also have plants for sale, refreshments, a raffle and plenty of parking at the school.
