MOUTHFUL: Reader Tom Howell sent in this astonishing photo of a snake attempting to eat a frog.

The picture was taken on his phone in Oake churchyard.

He says: "The frog was all puffed up and the snake was trying to get its jaws around it.

"It scarpered when it saw me."
