This photo of the King’s Arms, on the corner of High Street and South Street in Wellington, was brought in by Doug Marshall of St John’s Close in Buckwell, who collects old photographs and postcards of the town.
Doug, who says the picture is more than 100 years old, points out the passage that does not exist now and the smoking room on the right.
He also notes the cycling badge on the facade - visitors could stay overnight at the premises.
