THE people of Wellington have outlined the future for the town in a ground-breaking document which will shape their lives for the next twenty years.

Every aspect of daily life from the environment to jobs, education to transport are tackled head-on in one of the most far-reaching studies compiled for any south west community.

But there was a warning that delivery of the document's goals depended on the co-operation of "partner agencies" which hold the necessary financial, staff and legal clout.

And while the plan also includes Rockwell Green it does not address the many villages and communities surrounding Wellington who use its services and facilities.
