A THIRD car in just over 10 days has been seized from the Wellington area after it was discovered the owner had not taxed it.
Police were alerted by a tip-off and PCSO Vicky Henderson and PC Rachel Lang were able to locate the vehicle.
The dark colour Land Rover had been left parked without current vehicle tax.
Inquiries revealed the car had not been taxed for THREE YEARS.
It was then seized and hauled onto a flatbed recovery lorry to be taken to the police vehicle pound.
Last week, a black VW Eos parked in in Foxdown Hill, Wellington, was seized after it was found not to have tax or insurance and its owner had even submitted a Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN) to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).
Earlier, police also seized a white Audi car left for months on the town’s Cades estate after residents reported it was untaxed.
