ULTRA distance runner Tina Collin, of Dobree Park, Rockwell Green – who only took up running in 2011 to get fit – has completed her greatest distance yet, the 100km South Coast Challenge from Eastbourne to Arundel.

Starting at 9.30am she ran the course non-stop, finishing 21 hours and 2 minutes later. She raised £1,278.61 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Some experienced Ultra runners said it was the most gruelling course they had ever run.
