THE title showdown between Bishops Lydeard and Nynehead in Under 15 West of the Towergate Insurance Taunton Youth Cricket League on Sunday (July 17) was wrecked by rain.

It meant both sides were awarded one point which meant Nynehead ended the season with a total of 22 points, just one behind new champions Lydeard.
