RED faced officials have apologised after a hospital mix-up left a Wellington toddler in pain - with the wrong leg in plaster.

Mischievous 23-month old Lucy Rylatt fractured her RIGHT leg when she fell on a trampoline at a holiday park near Minehead during a family holiday.

But doctors at Minehead Hospital referred her to Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton where A&E doctors plastered her LEFT leg.

Later, doctors at Musgrove diagnosed a fracture in her right leg - and plastered it.

Now, senior medical staff have apologised after the hospital mix up.
