Bell which has seen one hundred years of town crying in WellingtonThe couple were married on October 6, 1956, at Taunton Register office and have spent all their married life in Wellington.
Terry, 83, worked as a long-distance lorry driver for Relyon and Evelyn, 81, as a cleaner. They met at the now defunct Tudor House in Taunton.
They have five children – Stephen, Sue, Julie, Adrian and Carol – eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Terry and Evelyn marked their anniversary with a family meal at Rumwell Farm on Sunday.
