USING its delegated planning powers, Wellington Town Council agreed at its June meeting to approve an application to convert a garage into ancillary accommodation at 33 Barn Meads Road, Wellington.

Other plans approved by the council were: demolition of extension and erection of replacement extension at 13 Victoria Street, Wellington; erection of glazed canopy at 18 Weavers Reach, Wellington.
It was agreed to recommend Taunton Deane Borough Council to approve the following applications:
Variation of previously approved plans to provide an additional six apartments in Block H at Tonedale Mill, Wellington, making the total 69; internal alterations to the Old Town Hall, Cornhill Arcade, Fore Street, Wellington; installation of outside storage racking at Travis Perkins, Unit 7 Blackdown Business Park, Sylvan Road, Wellington; demolition of garage and erection of detached home with detached double garage to serve both houses in the garden to the side of Bridge House, Payton Road, Westford, Wellington.
The Deane will make the final decision on these four plans.
