A FORMER vicar of Milverton, Andrew Norris, 67, is the new town crier of Wellington.

Mr Norris and his wife Alison have lived in the area for more than 30 years.

He co-ordinates the Christian Comment column for the Wellington Weekly News and is involved in Wiveliscombe-based 10 Radio. He also took part in Wellington Pantomime.

He lives at Palmers Mead, on the Longforth Estate, Wellington.
