Wellington among three fire crews working to free horse trapped in farm slurry pitMembers of Wellington Town Centre Working Group – part of Wellington Town Council – have suggested that multi-fingered signposts were put in the town giving directions for car parks and other local places such as the Park and the Basins Nature Reserves.
“It was also considered that the display of approximate walking distance and time it would take to get there would also be useful,” said a report.
“It was agreed that most of the signage on the approach to Wellington and in the town centre was in a poor condition being dirty, damaged and overgrown.”
