TWO stalwarts of the community in Wellington have celebrated their 80th birthdays at the Baptist church hall in the town.

Richard Fox and Isabel Ward staged a lunch for family and friends which Wellington Mayor and Mayoress Gary and Bee James also attended.

Isabel is chairman of Wellington in Bloom and communications secretary of Churches Together in Wellington, and Richard has a host of roles but is especially involved with Wellington and Taunton flower shows and Wellington Camera Club.
