TRADERS in Rockwell Green once again face losing thousands of pounds in trade over the next few weeks with the closure of the road through the village.

Wales and West Utilities is planning to close the road from Friday (August 7) for up to three weeks to renew gas mains and services in Exeter Road.

John Troake, supervisor at Brock’s convenience store in the village, fears the store will suffer lower takings again after two previous closures for work to be carried out in recent years.
