SCHEDULES for Wellington Summer Flower Show on Saturday, August 27, are now available.

They can be picked up from the usual outlets which have once again offered to keep them. The town library and Nurtured by Nature are the main stockists but they can also be found at Interiors and Flowers and several garden centres in the area.

The show is extremely grateful to local firms who have advertised in the schedule or sponsored a particular class.

Classes will be on offer for growers, cooks, craftspeople, photographers and artists, as well as flower arrangers, and children will be able to busy themselves over the summer holidays, whether it be painting, drawing, snapping photos or creating jewellery, a wind catcher or items made out of junk.

It is an open show and so anyone can enter, whether resident in Wellington or not. New exhibitors would be made most welcome. People can enter by dropping off an entry form at the library or Nurtured by Nature, sending it to the show secretary or online.

The show is once again be held at Wellington School’s Alan Rogers Centre (next to the Sports Centre) and there will plants for sales, a raffle, excellent refreshments and plenty of parking.
