THE South Street, Wellington, newsagent E J Teare has ceased trading today (Thursday).

The business said in a Facebook post that its bank HSBC was withdrawing its overdraft facilities at short notice and it was unable to make alternative arrangements to continue trading.

The Wellington Weekly News has made arrangements so that subscribers who have received the paper through the WWN from Teare’s will now obtain it through Wellington Newsagents in Fore Street.

E J Teare has advised customers to go to Mad Dog in South Street for engraving, voucher and parcel collections.
