A CRISIS meeting of local business people has been called by Wellington Town Council, aimed at pulling the town out of the doldrums.

Traders, business people and others interested in promoting the town are being urged to attend the meeting, to be held on February 26 to discuss ways the message: "Wellington is open for businesses" can be put across to shoppers and visitors.
The meeting is due to take place in the United Reform Church hall, Fore Street, starting at 6pm.
