The footbridge in the far corner of the Wellington Rec playing field is set to undergo a temporary closure as works are carried out.

Replacement works will be carried out to the site to be undertaken by A&N Construction. The footbridge will be closed for a maximum of 2 weeks, and are set to begin on Monday February 27.

A&N Construction will also be carrying out replacement works to the boardwalk situated in Wellington Basins. The boardwalk will be closed for a maximum of 2 weeks with works set to begin on Monday March 13.

The council has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
