The Wellington School Combined Cadet Force (CCF) and Corps of Drums were out in force at the annual inspection parade.

The school welcomed former Mayor of Wellington Cllr Gary James to address the CCF inspection parade.

Ex-paratrooper Mr James, Warrant Officer Stan Matthews, Able Seaman Arran Hunt and members of the CCF team inspected the contingent.

A spokesperson for the school said: “It was a splendid occasion with a prize-giving ceremony and the excellent Corps of Drums. Bravo everyone!”
