Wellington among three fire crews working to free horse trapped in farm slurry pitThe money is a contribution towards the cost of replacing tab tracks, curtains, costumes and light and sound equipment used by the group at the Arts Centre in Eight Acre Lane. The money will also help towards providing specialist make-up workshops.
Mayor Janet Lloyd is pictured awarding a cheque to Genesis chairman Crispin Buttle and two of the young people involved.
Crispin thanked the council and hoped the funding would help towards the next generation of young actors feed into the arts association.
