SUCCESSFUL grant applicants Lloyd and Diana Yorke from the Young At Heart Club receive a cheque for £100 from Simon Ratsey (left), representing the board of Brendon Energy and Transition Town Wellington (TTW).

Brendon Energy is a community co-operative and provincial society which provides renewable energy and invests some of its revenue back into the community. TTW decides where the money should be spent in the Wellington area. This year £300 was made available to give to local organisations.
