THE youngest volunteer at The Old Vicarage, part of the Abbeyfield Society, in Wellington, Rowan Scholes, ten, has won an award.

The Abbeyfield Society provides care homes for the elderly across the UK.
A small party was arranged for residents and staff and was a complete surprise for Rowan.
The Making Time Award for a Shining Star was awarded to Rowan by
divisional director Paul Boult.
