TIVERTON Foxhounds' annual point to point at Chipley Park, near Milverton, on Sunday goes despite the recent wet and cold weather.

Secretary Liz Dorse admitted earlier this week: "If we had chosen last weekend (Jan 15) we would have had to call it off."

The gates open at 9.30a.m. and the first race is at 12 noon. The point to point is one of the biggest outdoor events in the area and can attract an attendance of 4,000.

There are seven races on the card with 100 entries.
