FORMER Court Fields School student Brooke Aspin is set to make a playing comeback next weekend for Bristol City in the Barclays Women's Super League.

Having been sidelined through injury for nine weeks, she will be included in City's squad to play away to Aston Villa.

Playing in the biggest game of her short adult career, the teenager was stretchered off in the first half after suffering a leg injury against Manchester United at Ashton Gate. A scan later revealed she had suffered a strained PCL (posterior cruciate ligament).

The match attracted a record crowd of more than 14,000 for a women's game at Bristol.
