FORMER Court Fields School student Brooke Aspin is making good progress following her serious injury while playing for Bristol City against Manchester United in the Women's Super League late last month.

The 18-year-old had to be carried off midway through the first half before a record crowd of more than 14.000 at Ashton Gate.

But she is said to be on the mend and in light training in a bid to return to play for City before linking up with champions Chelsea next season.
