A WOMAN who was scorer for Wellington Cricket Club for many years has died.

Margaret Fullstone, who was 83, died on Wednesday of last week after a long illness.

She was married for 65 years to former Wellington all-rounder Dennis Fullstone who played well into his 60s.

The pair, who lost their son Neil through illness five years ago, also a talented rugby and cricketer, loved the outdoors and when they were younger enjoyed travelling.

The funeral of Margaret, who lived in Springfield, Wellington, will be held at Taunton Crematorium next Friday, November 18, at 2.30pm.
