WELLINGTON will be chasing their fourth win in five matches when they play at home to third-placed Wembdon in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier Cricket League on Saturday.

Having lost disappointingly to Chard the previous weekend, Wellington bounced back to beat Minehead by 72 runs away over the weekend.

Wellington scored 281-9 in their 50 overs with their top seven batsmen all scoring runs with Ben Evett top scoring with 47 while Aaron Campbell made 42.

In reply Minehead were bowled out for 209 in 41-3 overs with Dan Bowditch top scoring with 66, a knock which included nine boundaries.

Ashbrittle are looking to improve on their sixth place in the Premier Division of the Somerset League when they play away to joint leaders Frome. 

West Somerset League leaders Wiveliscombe are without a game, which means second-placed Sampford Arundel have the chance to close the gap when they meet Bishops Hull away.Sampford are 35 points adrift of the champions with a game in hand.

Unbeaten second division pacemakers Churchinford are home to mid-table Dulverton, having won eight of their nine games, the other being cancelled.
