WELLINGTON will be looking to avenge their last defeat by a Toolstation League side when they play Bishop Sutton in Division One of the Toolstation League at the Playing Field on Saturday, January 7.

Bishop Sutton won 1-0 in the FA Vase on the same ground earlier this season - but since then Wellington have won a string of games which has taken them to the top of the table. They ended the year with a 4-1 home win over Bishops Lydeard in front of their biggest league crowd in years on Boxing Day.

Wellington Reserves have no game on Saturday week but will need to be at their best when they play at home to leaders Cronies

in Division One of the Devon and Exeter League on Saturday,

January 14.

Hemyock, lying third in Division Six of the D & E League, are away to Tivvy Park Rangers on Saturday week while top of the table Wellington Thirds are away to struggling Colyton Reserves in Division Seven.

Wellington Rugby Club’s Ist XV have a derby match away to Cullompton in Western Counties West on January 7 while Wiveliscombe are home to second placed Weston super Mare in Somerset Premier. 

There are no matches in the local Saturday, Sunday and Youth Leagues this weekend.
