WELLINGTON’S football boss Clive Jones has not ruled out making changes for Saturday’s home game against Devizes Town in Division One of the Toolstation League (3.00).

Scott Drayton, who missed Wellington’s 4-0 home win over Wincanton Town over the weekend, steps back into the reckoning.

Jones has named the squad, plus Drayton, and will not make a decision on the exact side until after this week’s training. “I haven’t decided on the team yet and that’s a problem I like,” said Jones.

Wellington moved up to 14th place in the table after the win over Wincanton and Jones added: “I don’t like the position we are in.

“I want to move up the table as quickly as possible and will be looking for another three points against Devizes.”

In fact, it would not take much for Wellington to go higher because they are only four points behind fourth-placed Corsham Town who have played two more games.

Wellington’s squad for Saturday includes latest signing John Rawlings, a holding midfielder and defender who has joined the club from St Martins.

“I think he will be a good asset to the club and gives me more options,” said Jones.

Wellington will choose from: Woodgate, Bryant (L), Legg, Ellis, Porter, Bryant (S), Bryant (C), Nott, Bryant (J), Redrup, Billinger, Rawlings, Jones, Fleet, Drayton.

Wellington Reserves play away to Westexe Rovers in Division One of the Devon and Exeter League.

Milverton Rangers, who have moved up to fifth in Division Two of the Taunton Saturday League, are home to Dulverton Town.
