THIS was a good workout for Wellington A who used 14 players in this friendly in Devon last weekend, with two new lads having a run-out.

Wellington netted four first-half goals but conceded a sloppy goal which brought strong words from assistant manager Butler and club stalwart Oli Ghazala at half time.

The Wellington boys came out and played much better in the second half with some good passing moves throughout.

Goalscorers were James Kitson (2), Jordan Sellick (2), Joey Conway, Josh Stevens, and Dan Troup.

Wellington A play Castlemoat Reserves in the final of the Taunton Saturday League’s Steward Cup at Minehead on Wednesday, September 9.
