WELLINGTON Association Football Club Abilities – the club’s section which is aimed at children and adults of all ages with various disabilities – are on the move and looking for new players.

They have trained in Taunton for the past few years but have now secured the 3G pitch at Court Fields School in Wellington on Sunday afternoons.

Jason Fox, organiser and coach, said this week: “This is a brilliant opportunity for the teams.

“Hopefully we can now encourage more less able children and adults from Wellington to get involved in the football club.”

Jason is being supported by coach Luke O’Hara, former manager of the club’s A team. He said: “Jason has worked hard building up the Abilities section from scratch and we feel now is the perfect time to make that next step to help the progression of the teams.

“From a personal point of view, I’m very excited to be back coaching at this fantastic club and I hope, moving forward, I can help build the connection between the Abilities section and the club itself”
