WELLINGTON’S football manager Clive Jones is looking for maximum points from his side’s next two home games in Division One of the Toolstation League.

Wellington will be chasing the season’s double when they play second from bottom Wincanton on Saturday and meet fourth from bottom Devizes Town the following Saturday, both 3.00 kick-offs.

Jones is hoping that ex-Taunton and Bridgwater utility player Tim Legg will have recovered from a foot injury.

“With Mitch Woodgate returning in goal, we hope to be at full strength,” added Jones. “We are playing pretty well but I’m looking for more consistency," said Jones.

“We’ve got the ideal chance to pick up a few points and move up the table in then next fortnight.”

Wincanton have won only three of their 17 matches and Devizes four from 20, although they gave leaders Chipping Sodbury a run for their money before losing 2-1 away over the weekend.

Wellington Reserves will be looking for better form when they play away to Budleigh Salterton in Division One of the Devon and Exeter League4 when they play at home to Newtown Reserves in Division Two.

Milverton Rangers are away to bottom side Stogursey in Divison Two of the Taunton Saturday League.
