WELLINGTON’S football manager Clive Jones remains upbeat despite starting the season with three successive defeats, the latest being a 3-0 loss at Bradford in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League on Saturday.

But he admitted: “They really caught me out with their style of football. I was impressed.

“If every side in this division plays like that we are going to have to adjust – and quickly. We worked our socks off but we couldn’t keep hold of the ball.

"I didn’t think we would be outplayed as we were. But we just have to be patient because we knew it was going to be difficult.”
