WELLINGTON Town AFC Under 15s celebrated their near-end of season with a morning of paintballing, followed by hosting a friendly against Bracknell FC from South Wales, winning 7-2.
After the game, the side’s end of season presentations took place at the football club.
Trophy winners, included: Filip Lutrek - manager’s player; Freddie Jarmen - supporters’ player; Zac Collins - manager’s player; Charlie Langley - players’ player. Front, Riley Newland - most improved; Harvey Richards - manager’s player and most assists; Ethan Charlton - top scorer.
*Wellington Town play in Division One of the Under 15 section of the Taunton & District Youth League and beat Nether Stowey Juniors 8-0 at home in their last match, only a fortnight after losing to the same opposition 2-0.
However, they have found it tough going in the division but have competed well throughout the season.
They have one more league game to play. It is an away match against Burnham United which has been postponed more than once.
