ELEVEN teams - one more than last winter - will be playing in the Wellington Ladies Skittles League next season.

Jolly Blues have rejoined the league, which held its annual meeting this week at the Football Club, after pulling out during Covid.

It was agreed to play home and away for the season, rather than playing each other three times.

Teams competing next winter will be: All Blacks, Wanderers, Muppets, Land Girls, Split Pins, Water Babies, Geronimo, Livin on a Spare, Wobbly Pins, Pins & Tonics and Jolly Blues.

Officers elected included: president Carl Wood; chairman Cath Sharland; secretary and treasurer Jo Luckhurst.

The league will start on Monday, September 4.
