DECKED in cheerful Christmas jumpers and hats, more than 30 teenagers and children  attended a ‘Pizza and Pudding’ Christmas Party at Wellington Tennis Club. 

Chair Sue Rackley said: “This is an opportunity for all the juniors to mix in with one another and show case their skills. It’s very popular and the committee love to meet our juniors. Our excellent coach, Dan Sizer, organises the games and the committee prepare the food.”

After last year’s well supported New Year Tournament, the club intend to hold another in the New Year. Sue added: “It’s important to keep organising events to keep members involved. I’m looking forward to 2018 as we aim to start building work on the third court sometime in the Spring.”
