TEENAGE sprint star Ronnie Wells' dream of competing for Team GB at the World Junior Athletics Championships in Oregon, USA, have been dashed by injury.

Last month the Westford youngster competed in his first oudoor meeting of the season at Cardiff and suffered a hamstring strain in the 100 metres.
