COTTAGE Pies and Bell Green continue their battle at the top of Wellington Ex-Services Skittles League’s Gerald Thorne Championship with matches on Friday, November 21.
The Pies, who have a superior pins difference than their rivals while both have won seven of their opening eight matches, play away to Queens Legs at the upstairs alley at the Conservative Club, while Bell Green play Reservists on the upstairs alley at the Victoria Arms. Holywell Lake, in third spot only one point adrift, are without a match, while fourth-placed Relyon play Oaks on the downstairs alley at the Conservative Club.
At the other end of the table, Club Rockers are at home against Hot Shots at the Rockwell Green Institute with both sides in search of only their second wins of the winter.
Payne Challenge Cup and Ken Bright Cup ties are being played next Thursday, November 27.
