AS EXPECTED, Wellington's game at Street in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League tonight (Tues) has been called off.

It follows a pitch inspection made by Street just after lunchtime, it being declared unfit. It does not come as a surprise following heavy rain throughout the night and this morning.

Wellington will be hoping that their home game against title-chasing Clevedon Town this coming Saturday goes ahead following two successive postponements.

Wellington Town's away game against Yeovil Town in South Division of the Western Counties Floodlit Youth League tonight has also been rained off.
